Chill — Terms of Use

Version 1 · last updated September 30, 2026

Chill is the members-only player on chill.deunemployment.com. These terms apply to Chill only. They come on top of the general DeUnemployment terms of use and the privacy policy, which still apply to your account.

The short version: Chill is a player, not a library. It plays video that is already cached on a third-party debrid service. We host no video files, we upload nothing, and we do not check whether anything is licensed for you. What you watch is your responsibility. Access is personal — one account, no sharing. We record what is played and how much data it pulls.

1. What Chill is

Chill is a playback interface. When you pick a title, a server of ours asks a third-party caching/debrid service (TorBox) for a temporary direct link to a file that is already cached there, and hands that link to your browser. The video then travels straight from that provider's CDN to your browser. Our server never stores, copies, transcodes or serves the video, and it never downloads anything on your behalf.

Chill only ever offers material the cache already holds. If something is not cached, it is not offered.

2. Your account and access

3. Content is third-party, and we make no claim about it

We do not own, produce, host, upload or license any of the films or series you can reach through Chill. We do not verify that any title, subtitle, artwork or metadata is licensed, accurate, complete or lawful for your use, and nothing in Chill is a statement that it is. Metadata and artwork come from TMDB; subtitles come from third-party subtitle providers.

You are responsible for what you access. You must have the legal right to stream whatever you watch, and you must follow the law where you are. If you are not sure you have that right, do not use Chill.

4. Third-party services

Playback depends on TorBox and its CDN, and on other third parties for metadata and subtitles. Those services have their own terms and policies, which also apply to you, and they are not under our control. They can change, throttle, break or disappear at any time, and when they do, Chill stops working for the affected titles. We are not responsible for third-party services or for anything they do.

5. What we record

To run the service and to know what it costs, we keep a usage record tied to your account: which title (and season/episode) was played, when, how long you actually watched, how much of the file your browser pulled, and the technical request data (IP address, browser). We use it for capacity planning, cost, abuse handling and service integrity. It is not sold and not shared except where the law requires it. Details in the privacy policy.

6. Availability, and no warranty

Chill is provided “as is” and “as available”, free of charge, with no warranty of any kind. It can be changed, limited, interrupted or shut down at any time, with or without notice. Some files will not play in some browsers, some subtitles will be wrong or missing, and some links will stop working while you are watching. We are not liable for any of that, or for anything you do based on it.

7. Complaints and takedowns

If you believe something reachable through Chill infringes your rights, write to [email protected] with the title, the reason, and proof that you hold the rights. We will look at it and remove the entry from our index (which also stops Chill from offering it) while we do.

8. Changes to these terms

We will version these terms when they change. The version you accepted is stored with your account, and if we publish a new version we will ask you to accept it again before you can keep using Chill. Continuing to use Chill after a change means you accept the new version.

9. Age

You must be at least 18 years old, or have the permission of a parent or guardian who accepts these terms on your behalf, to use Chill.
