Fill job applications without retyping them

Applying for work means typing the same eleven facts into form after form, in whatever order and wording that employer's applicant tracking system happens to use. Find & Apply fills those forms from the profile and answers you already keep here. You press one button on the application page, watch each answer land, and submit when you are happy.

Add to Chrome — it's free

Free, no in-app purchases. Also installs in Edge, Brave and other Chromium browsers, and by hand if you cannot reach the Web Store.

The side panel next to a real application form. Each answer is written into the page as it is walked, and the panel says which ones it left alone.

How it works

What it fills

What it never touches

Some boxes are not the candidate's job to fill. They are listed in the panel under a collapsed heading, with the reason, rather than quietly guessed at:

It also never submits. Autofill writes; you decide when the application goes out.

How it connects, and what it sends

The extension has no account of its own. Signing in opens our own page, deunemployment.com/extension/authorize, and hands the extension a token, which is kept in your browser and is the only credential it holds. Uninstalling it removes that token; the panel also has a Forget token button.

While you are filling a form it sends us two things: the labels of the questions on the page, so it knows which of your saved details answers which box, and an answer you explicitly chose to remember. Nothing is sent for browsing you do elsewhere, and nothing is sent at all until you open the panel or press Autofill. It does not read or report your browsing history, and it does not send data to anyone else. The full policy is on /privacy.

Why it asks to work on every site. A job application is not on our site. It is on the employer's, which may be any domain: Greenhouse, Workday, Lever, Ashby, a company careers page, a regional board. It cannot be known in advance which one you will apply to next, so the extension asks for access to the page you are looking at when you ask it to fill that page. It reads nothing on any other tab and nothing in the background.

Install from a file instead (Brave, Edge, or if the Web Store is blocked)
  1. Download the extension (.zip) and unzip it.
  2. Open chrome://extensions → enable Developer mode (top right) → Load unpacked → select the unzipped folder.
  3. This is the same build the store serves, just installed by hand. Chrome will keep warning you about developer extensions until you switch to the store version.

Questions

The extension is young, and it is honest about what it will not do: it will not submit for you, it will not invent an answer it does not have, and it will not fill anything you told it to leave alone. If a form it cannot fill is stopping you, send us the link: [email protected]. Real application pages are how the fill engine gets better.

Not needed for searching. The search and the AI agent work without an account or the extension.
