As a Compounding Pharmacy Technician with Hims, you’ll serve as an integral part of the Hims Dispense & Fill pharmacy team. You will work in our closed-door, modern pharmacy facility, focusing on: compounding non-sterile medications, including topicals (creams/lotions), tablets, gummies, etc. adherence to USP <795> and USP <800> requirements maintaining a safe, clean, and compliant work environment This role plays a pivotal part in delivering safe, high-quality medications to our patients, and promotes impactful pharmaceutical services for our patients.
This role requires current registration + active license with the state of AZ as a Certified Pharmacy Technician. Assist with staging raw materials and managing non-sterile compounding inventory. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment. Participate in site-specific training, ongoing competency assessments, and annual revalidation. Maintain proper documentation, including batch records, ingredient logs, and cleaning logs. Follow USP <795> and <800> requirements and ensure compliance with state and federal laws.
Compound non-sterile medications (tablets, solutions, suspensions, gummy formulations, etc.) following prescription orders and site SOPs upon completion of certification. You Have: High school diploma or equivalent. Active registration as a Certified Pharmacy Technician in the State of Arizona. At least 1 year of pharmacy technician experience; prior experience in hospital or compounding settings preferred.
Familiarity with USP <795> and <800> standards and non-sterile compounding processes. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measurements, documentation, and record-keeping. Ability to follow procedures and maintain compliance in a regulated environment. Organized, dependable, and collaborative team player. Commitment to patient safety and quality standards.
