ERP Trainer

To Apply for this Job Click Here We’re looking for an experienced ERP Trainer to support a large-scale enterprise systems environment in Edmonton. This is a hands-on role combining training delivery, instructional design, content development, and user adoption. You’ll work closely with business and technical teams to develop practical training that helps employees understand new systems, processes, and ways of working.

This is a 1 year contract, fully on site, downtown Edmonton. What You’ll Be Doing Develop and deliver training for enterprise ERP systems and related business processes. Conduct learning needs assessments and identify training requirements across different roles and user groups. Design role-based training plans and determine the best delivery methods for different audiences. Create instructor-led and virtual training, e-learning, videos, job aids, quick reference guides, digital adoption resources, and other learning materials.

Facilitate engaging training sessions for both technical and non-technical audiences. Translate complex system functionality and business processes into clear, practical, easy-to-understand training. Apply adult learning and instructional design principles when developing training materials. Work with business leaders, subject matter experts, technical teams, vendors, and change management stakeholders to gather and validate requirements.

Manage multiple training initiatives, timelines, priorities, and deliverables. Review and maintain training materials to ensure content remains accurate, consistent, accessible, and current. Gather learner feedback and use assessments, performance measures, and adoption data to improve training. Use digital, multimedia, collaboration, and AI-enabled tools to support training development and delivery.

Provide guidance and support to junior trainers and contributors. What We’re Looking For University degree in Adult Education, Instructional Design, Education, Business, or a related field. Experience conducting learning needs assessments and analyzing training requirements. Experience designing and developing end-to-end learning solutions. Experience delivering instructor-led and virtual training.

Strong understanding of adult learning and instructional design principles. Excellent facilitation, communication, and presentation skills. Strong ability to simplify complex technical or business information for different audiences. Experience working with subject matter experts and stakeholders to develop training content. Ability to manage multiple training initiatives and competing priorities.

Nice to Have Experience delivering training for ERP systems such as Finance, HCM/Payroll, Supply Chain, or Procurement. Experience supporting ERP implementations, system changes, or digital transformation initiatives. Experience with digital adoption tools, embedded guidance, system walkthroughs, or in-app learning. Experience developing e-learning, instructional videos, multimedia content, or other digital learning materials.

Experience supporting change management and system adoption. Experience using learner feedback, assessments, or adoption data to measure training effectiveness. Experience using AI-enabled tools for instructional design, content development, or learner support.
