To Apply for this Job Click Here Are you an experienced Project Manager who enjoys bringing complex industrial projects from planning through completion? This is an opportunity to lead projects that support the safe, reliable operation and ongoing improvement of an industrial facility, while working with a collaborative team and a high degree of independence. Aplin is seeking a Project Manager with experience in industrial construction, operations, or maintenance projects.

The ideal candidate brings strong project controls, contractor coordination, and technical knowledge of tanks and pressure vessels, along with the ability to work effectively in a remote environment. Responsibilities Lead industrial construction, repair, replacement, and maintenance projects from initial planning through execution and closeout. Manage project scope, budgets, schedules, risks, and deliverables to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Coordinate engineering, construction, maintenance, vendors, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Monitor project costs, track commitments, and provide clear reporting on financial performance and progress. Review engineering and construction proposals, support contractor selection, and prepare procurement and contracting documentation. Identify and manage project risks, resolve issues, and keep stakeholders informed of project status.

Work closely with site teams and contractors to ensure projects are delivered in accordance with approved plans, specifications, and applicable standards. Maintain accurate project documentation and support successful project handover and closeout. Qualifications Demonstrated project management experience in industrial construction, operations, or maintenance projects, preferably within an acid plant or similar heavy industrial environment.

Experience managing industrial tank and vessel repair, replacement, or construction projects. Working knowledge of relevant codes and standards. Familiarity with Saskatchewan OH&S legislation and Mines Regulations is an asset. Strong skills in cost tracking, cost modelling, schedule management, risk reporting, and vendor coordination. Experience preparing procurement and contracting documentation and reviewing engineering and construction proposals.

Ability to provide examples of completed projects, including project scope, budget, location, and your role in delivery. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and work independently. Comfortable working remotely with occasional travel to the Saskatoon site and vendor facilities as required.
