The role involves overseeing daily accounting operations, preparing financial statements, ensuring UAE regulatory and VAT compliance, managing budgets and cash flow, leading month-end/year-end closing, and providing strategic financial insights to support business decisions. Key Responsibilities Oversee and manage daily accounting operations Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations and accounting standards Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions Monitor budgets, forecast financial performance, and control expenses Process payroll while ensuring compliance with UAE labor laws Perform bank reconciliations and maintain healthy cash flow Lead month-end and year-end closing activities Prepare VAT returns and coordinate with external auditors Develop and implement internal controls and financial policies Analyze financial data and provide strategic recommendations to management Supervise junior accounting staff and review their work Maintain accurate financial records and proper documentation Support management with financial planning and decision-making Requirements Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or a similar role Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting Experience with UAE VAT, audits, and regulatory compliance Excellent command of the English language Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership abilities High level of accuracy and attention to detail How to Apply Email your CV to [email protected].
