Registered Nurse – Med/Surg Location Kennewick, WA Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule 19:00 – 07:00, 12-hour night shifts with 2 weekend shifts required in a 2-week pay period. Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Med/Surg team. Our facility is a teaching hospital serving the Tri-Cities area, with a focus on providing excellent patient care across various specialties including internal medicine, pediatrics, and more.
Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a Med/Surg unit. Monitor patients’ vital signs and administer medications as prescribed. Assist with EKG and cardiac monitoring, ensuring patient safety. Coordinate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans. Educate patients and their families about health management and medication. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Current RN license in Washington State.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Med/Surg setting. Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications required. Training in EKG or rhythm interpretation.
