Registered Nurse – Intensive Care Unit Location San Antonio, TX Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM / 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM with rotating weekends. Job Description The ICU Registered Nurse will provide exceptional bedside care in the Intensive Care Unit. Focused on patient safety and quality care, this role requires a strong ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive and empathetic demeanor.
Responsibilities Deliver high-quality care to critically ill patients. Monitor and assess patient conditions, administering medications as needed. Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes. Educate patients and families on treatment plans and care processes. Participate in unit activities and uphold safety standards at all times. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Active Texas RN License (temporary licenses are not accepted).
2+ years of nursing experience, specifically in an ICU setting. Current ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory. Experience with vasopressors and NIH protocols. Why ARMStaffing?
