Registered Nurse – ICU Location San Antonio, TX Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM / 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM Job Description The Registered Nurse (RN) – ICU will be responsible for providing critical care to patients in the Intensive Care Unit. This nurse will work as part of a dedicated healthcare team focused on delivering exceptional patient care and improving clinical outcomes.
Responsibilities Monitor and assess patient health conditions and provide care as necessary. Administer medications and treatments as per the physician’s orders. Coordinate with healthcare teams to deliver comprehensive care to each patient. Provide support and education to patients and their families. Utilize advanced medical technologies and equipment to aid in patient care. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Must possess an active Texas RN license (temporary licenses are not accepted).
Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in an ICU setting. Current ACLS and BLS certifications are required. Experience with vasopressors is required. NIHSS certification is mandatory.
