Contract NICU Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM with rotating weekends. No call required. Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a contract position in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in respiratory care for pediatric patients and will demonstrate expertise in using advanced respiratory equipment and therapies.

Responsibilities Provide respiratory care and perform therapeutic procedures for neonates and pediatric patients. Administer nebulizer treatments, oxygen therapy, and ventilator management. Monitor patient progress and provide necessary adjustments to treatment plans. Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure the highest quality of care. Document patient care according to facility protocols and maintain accurate medical records.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Current RRT credential and state license. ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications are mandatory for this position.
