Registered Nurse – Telemetry Unit Location San Antonio, TX Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, Rotating weekends. Job Description We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Telemetry Unit. The ideal candidate will be able to provide high-quality patient care and effectively monitor patients in a critical care setting. The nurse will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to prioritize patient outcomes and deliver exceptional healthcare services.
Responsibilities Assess and monitor patient conditions through telemetry. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans. Document patient status updates and care provided using Meditech. Perform procedures such as TEE and cardioversion. Float to other units as needed following established floating policies.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Active TX RN License (Temporary License not accepted). 2+ years of telemetry nursing experience. BLS and ACLS certifications.
