Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical/Surgical, Telemetry and Progressive Care Unit Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM, 12-hour days; 36 hours/week Job Description This assignment requires an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) proficient in Medical/Surgical, Telemetry, and Progressive Care Unit (PCU) nursing. Candidates must be ready to work independently and possess strong abilities in cardiac monitoring.
This position is in a small, rural facility, and preference will be given to candidates with rural experience. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients across diverse populations from newborn to geriatric. Monitor patient conditions and respond to abnormalities, ensuring patient safety and comfort. Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement effective patient care plans.
Educate patients and families about health conditions and post-discharge care. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure 3+ years of experience in Progressive Care Unit, Medical/Surgical, and Telemetry nursing. Current New Hampshire RN license or Compact license. Basic dysrhythmia test certification. Active American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications. Previous travel experience is highly preferred.
