Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical/Surgical, Telemetry, and Progressive Care Unit Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 12-hour night shifts, totaling 36 hours per week. Job Description We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in a small, rural facility. The ideal candidate will have experience in Medical/Surgical, Telemetry, and Progressive Care Unit (PCU) specialties and must be able to work independently.
This role requires a nurse who can hit the ground running and adapt to various patient populations, from newborns to geriatrics. Responsibilities Provide patient care in Medical/Surgical, Telemetry, and PCU settings. Conduct cardiac monitoring and manage patient assessments. Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver quality care. Maintain optimal nurse-to-patient ratios based on acuity. Document patient information accurately in the medical records.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure 3+ years of experience in PCU, Medical/Surgical, and Telemetry nursing. Basic dysrhythmia test, with proof documented in the profile. Active RN license in New Hampshire or Compact. Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications. Previous travel nursing experience is highly preferred. Rural or small facility experience is preferred. Must own a vehicle for transportation related to the assignment.
