Registered Nurse – Cardiac Specialty Unit Location Overland Park, KS Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Shift: 7A – 7P Self-scheduling with weekends: three weekend shifts in a four-week period on day shift. Job Description Join our brand new Cardiac Progressive Stepdown unit, offering advanced care for patients post-cardiac procedures. Collaborate with a dedicated team to provide exceptional patient care in a high-acuity environment.
Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care to cardiac patients. Monitor and manage patients receiving IV medication titrations (including cardiac, heparin, insulin, etc.). Work collaboratively with charge nurses, PCTs, and unit secretaries to ensure efficient unit operations. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Telemetry experience required. Advanced skills in managing cardiac patients post-procedure required.
