Radiology: Interventional Radiology (IR Tech)

Interventional Radiology Technologist Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Day Shift: 4×10-Hour (07:00 – 17:30) Job Description The Interventional Radiology Technologist will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment alongside a multidisciplinary team, performing a range of interventional procedures. This role requires expertise in imaging techniques and patient care, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities Assist with and perform interventional radiology procedures including cerebral angiography, stroke intervention, and various biopsies. Maintain a sterile environment and support procedures in single plane IR rooms, biplane, and hybrid rooms. Perform venous access procedures including port placements, dialysis, and central lines. Document procedures and patient information in the EPIC charting system.

Collaborate with a team of interventional radiologists, vascular surgeons, and advanced practice providers. Participate in on-call rotations as required (5-7 days/month). Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience. BLS certification required. ARRT Registered and WA State License required. Experience with hospital charting systems, preferably EPIC.
