Invasive Cardiology RN Location Location not specified Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Day shift – either 8-hour or 10-hour shifts between the hours of 6 AM to 7 PM, including weekends as needed. Job Description The Invasive Cardiology RN will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients undergoing various cardiovascular procedures in a fast-paced environment.
The unit is equipped with dedicated Cardiac Catheterization Labs and Electrophysiology Labs, facilitating advanced treatment options. Responsibilities Manage and monitor patients undergoing invasive cardiac procedures. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care. Utilize Epic for documentation and patient management processes. Administer medications and perform necessary interventions during procedures.
Respond to emergency situations with a prompt and effective approach. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a relevant setting. Current ACLS and BLS certifications are required. Experience with Epic electronic charting system is preferred. Availability to remain until the last patient is cared for and adhere to call requirements with a 30-minute response time.
