Emergency Department Registered Nurse Location Asheville, NC Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Shift: 12:45 PM – 1:15 AM Job Description You will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced Emergency Department. The role requires a teamwork mentality, the ability to coach and give real-time feedback, as well as flexibility to work in all areas of the ED.
Responsibilities Provide nursing care to emergency patients, managing both medical and behavioral cases. Utilize advanced equipment and documentation systems (Cerner) for patient care. Maintain updated patient information on boards throughout the visit. Participate in triage and internal processing in collaboration with techs and clerks. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in an Emergency Room setting.
Experience in a Level 2 trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, or high-volume ED preferred.
