Registered Nurse – Emergency Department Location Asheville, NC Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Shift: 3:00 PM – 3:00 AM Job Description Join our dedicated team in the Emergency Department at a leading facility, recognized nationally for excellence in clinical quality and patient safety. The Emergency Department is a high-volume center with a commitment to providing outstanding care to a diverse community.
Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a fast-paced emergency environment. Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the best patient outcomes. Utilize advanced skills in assessing patient conditions and implementing treatment plans. Maintain flexibility to work in various areas within the Emergency Department as needed. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, including at least 1 year in an Emergency Department setting.
ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS certifications required before starting. Experience in a Level II trauma center and comprehensive stroke center preferred.
