Travel Physical Therapist – Gainesville, FL Location Gainesville, FL Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Job Description We are seeking a motivated and skilled Travel Physical Therapist to join our team at a new rehabilitation unit. This position will focus on providing high-quality care in a skilled nursing facility setting, emphasizing patient evaluations, therapy interventions, and functional training.
Responsibilities Conduct patient evaluations and develop appropriate treatment plans. Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) and transfers. Provide gait training and therapeutic exercises (Therex). Educate patients and family members on treatment protocols and progress. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Current Physical Therapist license.
BLS certification. Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) preferred. Familiarity with Meditech (Expanse) documentation system is a plus. Why ARMStaffing?
