L&D Registered Nurse – Women’s and Children’s Services Schedule Days 0645-1915; 3-12s per week, every other weekend Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Job Description Responsible to Unit Director for overall nursing practice, including the responsibility for the assessment of childbearing women, neonates, and family needs, the development of a plan of care, implementation of nursing interventions, and evaluation of nursing care based on outcomes for the population served.
Responsibilities Assist women and infants to attain and maintain optimum health through assessment, stabilization, and planning of care. Promote understanding of family dynamics and their impact on health status. Identify and intervene with vulnerable patients and families-at-risk. Facilitate interaction among family members to promote bonding and understanding of health issues. Maintain current knowledge and skills regarding care for women and infants.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Completion of an accredited registered nurse program required. Current Pennsylvania RN licensure. American Heart Association’s BLS and ACLS certifications. Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification. Strong verbal, non-verbal, and written communication skills. Why ARMStaffing?
