Registered Nurse – NICU Location Dallas, Texas Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule 07:00 – 19:00 shifts, requiring 3-12 hour shifts per week, with rotating weekends and holidays. Job Description The Registered Nurse in the NICU will provide specialized care for infants, including those born prematurely and those requiring advanced respiratory management. You will work in a unit equipped with the latest technology and collaborate with a skilled team of healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Handle complex patient needs, focusing on preemies and infants requiring respiratory support. Manage central lines and perform various clinical procedures as necessary. Coordinate care plans and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams. Document patient care and interventions accurately in the electronic health record.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 1 year of Level III NICU experience. Current certifications in BLS and NRP required. Experience with respiratory management, including care for intubated patients, preferred. Proficiency in managing central lines and caring for trach infants. Why ARMStaffing?
