Registered Nurse – Medical ICU Schedule Day shift, 12 hours, 3 days a week Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Job Description Join our fast-paced Medical Intensive Care Unit (ICU) that specializes in caring for patients with a range of critical conditions, including sepsis, heart failure, hypertensive emergencies, respiratory failure, COPD, chronic kidney disease, type 2 diabetes, substance abuse issues, status epilepticus, and encephalopathy.
This unit is designed for nurses who are equipped to handle complex patient cases and thrive in challenging environments. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients. Monitor vital signs and patient conditions consistently. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Manage ventilators and other complex medical equipment. Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.
Educate patients and families on health management and recovery processes. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum 3 years of experience in a Medical ICU setting. Current ACLS and BLS certifications are required. Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing. Experience with ventilators and intravenous medication administration. Why ARMStaffing?
