Registered Nurse – Medical ICU Schedule Day Shift, 12-hour shifts, 36 guaranteed hours per week Job Description Seeking a Registered Nurse to join a high-paced Medical ICU team. The unit consists of 30 beds and deals with a diverse patient population, including those experiencing sepsis, heart failure, hypertensive emergencies, respiratory failure, COPD, chronic kidney disease, Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus, alcohol and substance abuse, status epilepticus, and encephalopathy.
Responsibilities Provide comprehensive care for patients in the Medical ICU Monitor and manage patient conditions, including those on ventilators Administer medications and treatments as prescribed Collaborate with the healthcare team to implement and evaluate patient care plans Educate patients and families about health management and discharge planning Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 3 years of ICU nursing experience Current ACLS and BLS certifications are required Experience with ventilators and other critical care equipment is necessary Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position.
