Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Night shift: 3×12-Hour (19:00 – 07:30), with every 3rd weekend requirement. Job Description The Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will provide high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced environment. The position requires strong clinical skills, effective communication, and the ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team.
Responsibilities Provide comprehensive care for patients during labor and delivery. Administer medications and monitor patient responses. Assist with high-risk deliveries and postpartum care. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using the Epic charting system. Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Educate patients and families regarding childbirth and postpartum expectations.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing. Active RN license in the state of practice. Current certifications: NRP, ACLS, BLS required.
