Hand Therapy Physical Therapist or Occupational Therapist Location Stockton, CA Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Days Job Description The Physical Therapist is responsible for implementing patient rehabilitation programs to help improve mobility, function, and strength. This role involves evaluating and treating patients while maintaining up-to-date PT skills and certifications.
Responsibilities Evaluate and treat patients for physical therapy and rehabilitation programs. Utilize Electronic Medical Records for evaluations, reports, and discharge summaries. Guide and monitor patient care in all aspects of treatment and follow-up. Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants and Aides regarding all aspects of patient care. Communicate with physicians and other personnel to ensure quality patient care.
Manage accurate patient chart documentation and follow-up on prescriptions, test results, and authorizations. Be involved in the business marketing and referral process when necessary. Ensure compliance with HIPAA policies and procedures. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Must hold a degree in Physical Therapy. Active license or plans to test for licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of California.
