Care Assistant – Long Weekend Working Pattern

We’re introducing a different approach to care staffing! A predictable long-weekend working pattern designed around consistency, workforce flexibility and a better balance between work and personal time. Working 36 hours per week, you’ll work across a four day period from Friday to Monday, with a requirement to work a minimum of 3 out of the 4 days. This approach provides a more structured and predictable work, allowing you to plan your working commitments while retaining a meaningful block of non working days during the week.

What You’ll Be Doing Support residents with personal care and daily routines Assist with meals and activities Promote independence, dignity and choice Support safe moving and handling Build positive relationships with residents Recognise and report changes in residents’ needs Maintain accurate records Work collaboratively with the wider care team What We’re Looking For Previous experience working in a UK care home or adult social care setting A caring, reliable and professional approach Confidence supporting residents with personal care and daily needs Strong communication and teamwork skills Current PVG or willingness to apply Commitment to working the agreed Friday-Monday pattern A genuine passion for providing high-quality care What you get in return Holiday pay on every shift Online scheduling and diary management Opportunities across a respected network of care settings Ongoing support from the ASA team £250 Love2Shop voucher when you successfully refer a friend, following the qualifying period Work Your Long Weekend.
