Join an international financial institution and play a key role in the governance and oversight of major European financial benchmarks. As a Benchmark Officer, you will work at the intersection of financial markets, regulatory requirements and corporate governance, collaborating with senior stakeholders and leading financial institutions across Europe. You will have the opportunity to contribute to high-impact projects and play a direct role in ensuring the integrity, quality and robustness of key market benchmarks.
As part of a team of Benchmark Officers, you will contribute to the control, monitoring and implementation of the daily data collection, calculation and publication processes of our benchmarks. - You monitor and follow up on internal corporate governance documents within the scope of the Operations Unit and liaise closely with the Compliance Officer. - You prepare information and draft documentation in response to regulatory requests, in collaboration with the Compliance Officer.
- You act as Secretary of the Benchmark Oversight Committees and the Panel Bank Contact Group, preparing agendas and background documents, organizing meetings and drafting minutes. - You contribute to the effective governance, monitoring and continuous improvement of benchmark-related processes. - You hold a Master’s degree, or a Bachelor’s degree combined with at least 3 years of relevant professional experience, in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Law or a related field.
- You have an excellent command of English, both written and spoken, with particularly strong drafting and reporting skills. - You have at least 2 years of relevant experience in at least two of the following areas: secretarial support to governing bodies, committees or working groups; product governance, corporate governance or compliance, preferably within the financial sector; preparation of policy recommendations; financial market regulatory environment, with knowledge of benchmark regulation considered a strong asset; drafting and maintaining operational procedures.
