Junior Product Designer (Part-Time) We’re currently seeking candidates for a Junior Product Designer (Part-Time) position with a highly successful investment management firm located in Boston, MA. The Junior Product Designer will help translate user needs and organizational goals into intuitive, audience-friendly digital experiences across web and mobile platforms while ensuring alignment with brand standards.

The ideal candidate will have 2–4 years of UX/UI experience, a solutions-oriented mindset, and a proactive approach. This is a 6+ month contract position paying $35–$40/hour, depending on experience. This position offers a hybrid work model in Boston with a schedule of 24 hours per week. Responsibilities: Create and refine user-friendly digital interfaces across web and mobile platforms to deliver positive, intuitive digital experiences.

Conduct user research, including interviews, usability testing, and surveys, and analyze findings to support data-driven design decisions. Review digital interface designs with a focus on brand standards, business objectives, and user needs. Provide thoughtful feedback and recommend solutions. Assist in developing wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and prototypes while ensuring alignment with brand standards, business goals, and user needs.

Collaborate with internal teams to support the accurate implementation of design specifications, user experience requirements, and digital assets. Assist in creating and enhancing user personas, user flows, journey maps, and ad hoc documentation that highlights user needs and promotes cohesive digital experiences. Create, update, and maintain design assets while collaborating closely with project teams and stakeholders.

Stay current on emerging design technologies and trends and contribute to ongoing process improvements. Provide additional support as needed. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Design, Computer Science, or a related field required. 2–4+ years of UX/UI design experience, including internships. Financial services experience is a plus but not required. Experience with Adobe XD, Figma, and/or similar design and prototyping tools.

Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or a similar content management system (CMS). Working knowledge of HTML and CSS. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work effectively both collaboratively and independently while adapting to evolving priorities and needs. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail with demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, troubleshoot, and solve problems.
