Senior Payroll Associate - Global Investment Firm in Boston

Senior Payroll Associate | Boston, MA | Hybrid I’m partnering with a globally recognized private investment firm who is looking to add a Senior Payroll Associate to join their established Payroll team in Boston. About the Role: The Senior Payroll Associate will play a key role in processing payroll, supporting both exempt and non-exempt populations. This position will work closely with Payroll, Finance, and Human Resources teams and will have the opportunity to contribute to a variety of payroll-related projects.

Responsibilities: Process multi-state bi-weekly payrolls using ADP Partner with ADP to resolve payroll issues and discrepancies Prepare manual and off-cycle payments Enter and reconcile payroll journal entries in Workday Manage payroll-related items including fringe benefits and deductions Maintain employee 401(k) elections Reconcile monthly bank statements Respond to employee payroll questions and resolve issues Assist with payroll and corporate annual audits Support payroll-related projects across HR and Finance Handle additional projects and responsibilities as needed Qualifications: 5–8 years of payroll experience Experience with ADP, preferably ADP Workforce Now Experience with Workday Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Accounting or Finance Strong verbal and written communication skills Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, complex, multi-business-unit environment Strong ability to prioritize and meet deadlines Self-motivated with a proactive, team-oriented approach Ability to handle highly confidential and sensitive information with discretion $80K - $100K base salary dependent on experience If you are interested, please apply directly and email your resume to Cassidy Sullivan at [email protected] !
