As an Assistant Category Manager , you’ll help drive the commercial performance of a category across some of Australia’s best-known retail brands.

Working closely with a Category Manager, you’ll use customer and market insights to shape promotions, support category strategy, build supplier partnerships and deliver strong sales and profit outcomes. Here is a taster of what you can expect in this role: Help shape and deliver category and promotional strategies Use customer, shopper and market insights to identify growth opportunities Drive category sales, profit and promotional performance Build strong commercial partnerships with key suppliers Support supplier negotiations and joint business opportunities Partner with Marketing and eCommerce to deliver customer trade plans Analyse performance and turn data into clear commercial actions What do we need from you Now let’s talk about you:  3+ years’ experience in promotions, buying, category or a related commercial role Strong understanding of category management principles and commercial drivers Confident using customer data and insights to inform commercial decisions Experience working with suppliers and stakeholders to deliver shared outcomes Strong Excel and analytical capability An understanding of P&L drivers, sales, profit and commercial performance Drinks industry knowledge is desirable, but not essential Why express your interest?
