Salary is €35k, negotiable but must reflect experience, €2k Bonus, 10% Staff Discount. Store is open Monday to Friday 8.30-5.30 and Saturday 8.30-5. As Retail Sales Associate you must demonstrate a passion for sales whilst providing exceptional customer service. You will engage with customers to understand their individual needs, providing expert guidance and inspiration as you lead them through a personalised shopping experience. Key Responsibilities for the job of Retail Sales Assistant – Electrical Goods/Home Appliances Provide excellent customer service and offer expert product advice on electrical goods and home appliances.
Assist customers in selecting products that best meet their needs, budget, and lifestyle requirements. Demonstrate product features, benefits, and functionality to customers. Achieve individual and team sales targets through proactive selling and upselling opportunities. Maintain strong product knowledge across a wide range of appliances. Process sales transactions accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
Handle customer enquiries, returns, exchanges, and after-sales support in a professional manner. Ensure the department is well-stocked, organised, and visually appealing at all times. Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory control, stock replenishment, and stocktakes. Keep up to date with new product launches, promotions, and industry trends. Assist with merchandising displays and promotional campaigns to maximise sales opportunities.
