Restaurant Operations Manager – 4-Star Hotel | Johannesburg South A well-established 4-star hotel in Johannesburg South is seeking an experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to oversee its restaurant, bar and related food and beverage operations. Salary: R35 000 – R40 000 per month, negotiable DOE Description: Oversee daily restaurant, bar and room-service operations. Lead, train, schedule and performance-manage the team.

Maintain exceptional guest-service, hygiene and presentation standards. Manage budgets, revenue targets, cash-ups, stock, labour costs and waste. Resolve guest complaints and lead service-recovery efforts. Drive upselling, repeat business and positive guest reviews. Ensure compliance with food-safety, liquor, health and safety regulations. Develop and maintain front-of-house procedures and training manuals.

Work closely with Kitchen, Front Office, Sales and Marketing. Prepare operational and financial reports for executive leadership. Requirements: Relevant Hospitality or Food and Beverage Management qualification. Minimum three years’ senior restaurant or F&B operations experience. At least two years’ management experience. Previous 4- or 5-star hotel, lodge or fine-dining experience preferred.

Multi-outlet experience across a restaurant, bar and room service. Strong financial, cost-control and stock-management skills. Proficiency in POS systems, inventory tools and Microsoft Office. Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving abilities. Willingness to work shifts, weekends, public holidays and overtime. To apply for this job, click here .
