Role: Civils Operatives Location: Launceston, Bodmin & Fraddon Job Type: Temporary to Ongoing Pay Rate: From £13.45 per hour (DOE & tickets held) Hours: Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week Start Date: ASAP MSS Infrastructure Ltd is currently recruiting Civils Operatives for multiple ongoing civil engineering and infrastructure projects across Launceston, Bodmin and Fraddon. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing team working on a variety of highways, utilities and civil engineering schemes, with long-term work available for the right candidates.
Key Responsibilities Excavation and reinstatement of roads, footways and utility trenches Installation of ducts, drainage systems and utility pipework Assisting with site preparation and general groundworks activities Operating hand tools and small plant equipment safely Supporting utility installation, repair and maintenance projects Maintaining a clean, safe and organised worksite Following RAMS, site procedures and health & safety regulations Essential Requirements Valid CSCS Card Full UK Driving Licence Previous experience within civil engineering, groundworks or utility works Strong awareness of site health and safety practices Ability to work effectively as part of a team Desirable Qualifications CPCS or NPORS Dumper CPCS or NPORS Mini Excavator CPCS or NPORS Roller Street Works / Utility experience Additional plant or construction-related tickets Key Skills Groundworks & Civil Engineering Drainage Installation Excavation & Reinstatement Utility Works Ducting & Pipe Laying Small Plant Operations Highways Maintenance Site Preparation Health & Safety Compliance Teamwork & Communication What's On Offer?
