We are looking for a Senior Satellite Communication Specialist for our client who meets the following criteria: Language: Bilingual – English & French Security Clearance: Secret Location of Work: On-site – Primarily at the David Florida Lab, 3701 Carling Ave., Ottawa, Ontario. Some work may occur at other DND facilities across Canada. Travel may be required to the United States, Australia, Europe, and the United Kingdom.
Requirements: The Bidder should demonstrate that the proposed resource has a post-secondary education (College/CEGEP diploma or University degree) from a recognized* Canadian post-secondary institution or the equivalent as established by a recognized* Canadian academic credentials assessment service, if obtained outside of Canada, in one (1) of the following areas: Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering * The list of recognized organization can be found under the Canadian Information Centre for International Credentials website, at the following internet links: https://www.cicic.ca/2/home.canada The Bidder must demonstrate that the resource has combined experience in each of the following: planning, preparation, setup, configuration and operation of ground and aircraft-based satellite communication systems of the FA240 and RIFL2E systems.
The Bidder must demonstrate that the resource has experience in conducting analysis and providing recommendations regarding SATCOM system selection including plans, certification and technical specifications. The Bidder must demonstrate that the resource has experience conducting analysis, design and integration of SATCOM systems. The Bidder must demonstrate that the resource has experience implementing and testing networks integrating secure military data links over SATCOM.
The Bidder must demonstrate that the resource has experience defining functional and performance requirements of security appliances for SATCOM systems. The Bidder must demonstrate that the resource has experience testing SATCOM functional and performance requirements of security appliances. The Bidder must demonstrate that the resource has combined experience in each of the following: configuring cryptographic equipment, loading cryptographic material and managing crypto keys for SATCOM systems.
