SAP EWM Consultant – Japanese & English Location: Japan / Hybrid Contract: Permanent Travel: 0–80%, depending on assignment Language: Native-level Japanese & Business-level English We are currently recruiting for an experienced SAP EWM Consultant to join a leading global SAP consulting organisation working with major international clients across a range of industries. This is an excellent opportunity for an SAP professional with strong SAP WM/EWM implementation experience to work on complex Supply Chain Execution projects, delivering end-to-end logistics solutions and helping clients improve their warehouse and supply chain processes.
The Role As an SAP EWM Consultant, you will be responsible for the implementation and development of SAP EWM solutions within the Supply Chain Execution (SCE) environment. Your responsibilities will include: Implementing business processes and developing solutions based on SAP EWM. Configuring SAP EWM, including testing, documentation and performance validation. Supporting development teams with functional specifications and test scripts.
Planning and delivering SAP EWM projects. Designing and improving end-to-end logistics processes across multiple SAP modules. Demonstrating SAP EWM functionality and process improvement opportunities to clients. Providing consulting expertise and recommending appropriate solutions based on business requirements. Working collaboratively with project teams and contributing to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
About You You will ideally have: 4+ years' SAP consulting experience. 2+ years' SAP WM/EWM implementation experience. At least one full lifecycle SAP WM/EWM implementation as a functional and/or technical consultant. Strong SAP EWM configuration and solution design skills. Excellent understanding of end-to-end warehouse and logistics processes. Strong cross-module knowledge, ideally including SAP SD, MM, LE-Shipping and/or LE-TRA .
Experience working across different industries and warehouse environments. Excellent client-facing and consulting skills, with the ability to present and evaluate different solution options. Previous leadership experience is desirable. Pre-sales or business development experience is advantageous. The ability and willingness to travel, potentially up to 80% depending on the assignment . A university degree or postgraduate qualification.
