SEND Officer - Assessment & Reviews I'm looking for a SEND Officer to join a Local Authority in the Midlands on an interim basis. £286 per day Midlands LA Remote working Contract until 31/12/2026 If you are an experienced SEND Caseworker with strong experience in coordinating SEND assessments and reviews this is a great opportunity to make a real difference. You will work closely with children, young people, families, schools and professionals to ensure their needs are identified and the right support is put in place Key responsibilities: Manage and coordinate the timely completion of SEND assessments and Annual Reviews, ensuring statutory timescales are met.
Promote and embed person-centred planning across assessment and review processes Work collaboratively with schools, settings, health, social care and other professionals to identify appropriate support and provision Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records Work directly with children, young people and families to ensure their views, wishes and aspirations are reflected in the assessment and planning process Support the implementation of new EHCP formats and processes (Minimum 2 years Local Authority SEND experience is essential.)
