Payroller – Six Months’ Assignment

Our client is a locally based business in Rochdale with a pressing need for an experienced Payroller to join them for six months on a temporary assignment  basis. What you will be doing: Processing weekly/monthly payroll accurately and on time Managing starters, leavers, and employee amendments Processing PAYE, National Insurance, and pension deductions Handling payroll queries and resolving discrepancies Completing payroll reconciliations and reports Maintaining accurate and confidential employee records Working closely with HR and the wider finance team Ensuring payroll processes comply with relevant legislation What you need to bring: Previous payroll experience Strong attention to detail and accuracy Good knowledge of PAYE, National Insurance, and pensions Confidence using Excel and payroll systems Able to work to tight deadlines in a busy environment Strong communication and problem-solving skills Available to start this role at short notice What you can expect: Hourly rate is up to £19p/h plus holiday pay Can be flexible with hours worked School working hours can be offered Fulltime or Reduced hours available Weekly Pay by Timesheet Please call our offices and/or send in your CV asap
