What You'll Be Doing As a Secondary Teaching Assistant, you'll become an important part of the school community by: Supporting students in lessons on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.

Helping pupils build confidence, independence, and resilience. Working closely with teachers to create engaging learning experiences. Supporting students with Additional Learning Needs (ALN), SEMH, and behavioural needs. Encouraging positive behaviour and helping students stay focused in lessons. Becoming a positive role model and trusted adult within the school. No two days are the same, making this a varied and rewarding role where every day brings new opportunities to make an impact.
