Learning Support Assistant Alton About the Role: One of our lovely primary schools based in Alton is looking for a passionate, dedicated and motivated LSA to work alongside the Year R – 6 teams to support a variety of children with different learning abilities and needs. Start Date: October/November 2026 Salary: £92.63 a day Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm Monday to Friday (part time) To be considered you must obtain an enhanced child only DBS and complete additional vetting checks.

Key Responsibilities: Supporting individual pupil/s inside and out of the classroom Assisting with classroom activities and resources Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment Supporting pupils with additional needs to develop emotional and academically Assisting with organising and tidying the classroom when necessary What We’re Looking For: Experience working with primary children (KS1 – KS2) A caring, patient, and adaptable approach Good communication and teamwork skills Experience supporting SEN children is desired but not essential A genuine passion for helping children learn and grow Basic knowledge of safeguarding and child protection principles (CPD training provided) Teaching Personnel Benefits: Full-time employment with consistent hours.
