Learning Support Assistant (LSA) – Immediate start | Dibden, Southampton Location: Dibden, Southampton Pay Rate: £14.25 per hour Agency: Teaching Personnel Contract: Long-Term Opportunity Teaching Personnel is seeking a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a welcoming primary school in Dibden, Southampton on a long-term basis. This rewarding role involves providing classroom support and 1:1 support for a pupil with Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping them to access learning and reach their full potential.
The Role Support the class teacher with daily classroom activities. Provide dedicated 1:1 support for a child with SEN. Help create an engaging, inclusive and positive learning environment. Encourage the pupil's academic, social, and emotional development. Work closely with teaching staff and the school's SEN team. The Ideal Candidate Experience working with children in a school or similar setting is desirable.
Previous experience supporting children with SEN is an advantage. Patient, compassionate, and able to build positive relationships. Reliable, proactive, and committed to supporting young learners. A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one. What We Offer Competitive pay rate Long-term placement with the potential for permanent roles.
