Registered Nurse (RN) Position Overview This travel nursing position is for a Registered Nurse in the Med/Surg specialty, specifically within the Transplant Nephrology unit. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. Unit Information Number of Beds: 20 Patient Ratios: 1:6 Unit Staffing: Daytime unit secretary, Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) available, unit educator present Documentation System: Meditech Weekend Shift Requirements: 3 shifts per month Floating Policy: Agency/Contract nurses float first Clinical Responsibilities The Registered Nurse will deliver general medical/surgical care with a focus on nephrology and patients undergoing kidney transplants.
Dialysis is managed off the unit. Qualifications Required Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) Required Skills: Med/Surg experience, nephrology knowledge, kidney transplant familiarity, and experience with dialysis Certifications: Current BLS certification Dress Code Staff are required to wear royal blue scrubs and may wear black scrub pants.
