Zest Education is currently recruiting for a confident and experienced Primary Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Lichfield . This is a fantastic part-time opportunity , working every Thursday and Friday in a Year 3 class on an ongoing basis. The school is looking for a strong classroom practitioner who can quickly build relationships, maintain high expectations, and deliver engaging lessons that inspire pupils to achieve their best.

About the Role This role will see you taking responsibility for a Year 3 class for two days each week. Importantly, all planning has already been completed , allowing you to focus on delivering high-quality lessons, supporting pupil progress, and maintaining a positive learning environment. You will follow the prepared plans, deliver lessons effectively, and complete marking in line with the school’s expectations.

As a result, this opportunity would suit a teacher who enjoys being in the classroom and making an impact without the additional workload of planning. Furthermore, the school is seeking someone who can provide consistency at the end of each week and quickly establish themselves as a valued member of the teaching team. Key Responsibilities Deliver pre-planned lessons to a Year 3 class every Thursday and Friday.

Create an engaging and positive learning environment. Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement. Mark pupils’ work and provide constructive feedback. Monitor pupil engagement and progress throughout lessons. Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents. Work collaboratively with the class teacher and wider school team. Ensure continuity and consistency in learning.

The Ideal Candidate The successful applicant will: Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) . Have experience teaching within Key Stage 2 . Be a strong classroom practitioner with excellent behaviour management skills. Deliver engaging and effective lessons from pre-prepared planning. Be reliable, organised, and professional. Build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues. Demonstrate a commitment to achieving the best outcomes for children.
