Join our Hotel team as an Administrative Assistant and play a key role behind the scenes in helping multiple departments operate efficiently. Job Purpose: Provides administrative and clerical support to all Hotel Division Departments and assists in the coordination of department projects Job Duties and Responsibilities: (Note: Duties and responsibilities may be added, deleted, or changed at the sole discretion of Sycuan Management at any time) Provides administrative and clerical support by composing department reports, correspondence and interoffice memos, preparing, reviewing and correcting submitted payroll information within the scheduled pay period, processing, submitting and filing, onboarding and termination documents.
Reviews and prioritizes incoming correspondence for the Hotel Division Managers review, approval, or signature, and maintains and updates the master filing. Places and receives office supply orders. Oversees the Hotel Division asset disposal process. Organizes and tracks department projects, deadlines, weekly schedules, and events by working and coordinating assignments with the Hotel Division management units on the casino/ hotel floor approved by the Manager.
Provides timely communication of departmental information to department staff, and answering and screening inquiries regarding the Department on a daily basis. Maintains a professional department image by consistently communicating and presenting information in a professional manner in team member and business interactions. Assists in recognition of Team Member celebrations, representing the casino, and coordinating assistance for departmental projects as directed.
Performs other duties as assigned. Job Specifications: Education and Experience: Essential: High School Diploma or G.E.D. 3 years of office administration experience Desirable: Casino work experience Skills and Knowledge: Essential: Ability to communicate and interact effectively with guests and team members Ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks and assignments Ability to document and complete office forms Ability to maintain filing systems Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet applications Ability to appear for work on time Ability to maintain professionalism and composure Ability to understand and follow verbal directives and written directions Ability to accept constructive criticism Desirable: Multi-lingual Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel Supervisory/Managerial Accountability: Direct: None Indirect: None
