Join Proton and build a better internet where privacy is the default Proton was founded in 2014 by scientists from CERN on a simple truth: privacy is a fundamental human right . Since then, we've built the world's largest encrypted email service (Proton Mail) and expanded into Proton VPN, Proton Drive, Proton Pass, and Proton Calendar — tools used by millions globally to protect their freedom, fight censorship, and keep their data safe.
In some situations, Proton has literally helped save lives. We are profitable, independent (no VC control), and selectively hire from the top ~1% of applicants. Our 700+ team members across 50+ countries come from leading organizations and elite academic backgrounds. We move fast, keep hierarchy light, and prioritize impact over optics. If you want to do meaningful work with exceptionally high-caliber people, this is it.

The team runs 50+ engineers and is in the middle of a significant push into B2B - building the features, admin infrastructure, and organizational workflows that businesses need, without compromising the privacy guarantees that brought them to Proton in the first place.
The PM challenge here is real: you're building for both individual users and the organizations that manage them, under privacy constraints that rule out the instrumentation most B2B products rely on. If that sounds like an interesting problem, keep reading. What You'll Do Own the B2B product strategy for Mail and Calendar in partnership with central B2B leadership and other business units - identify what organizations need (admin controls, org management, integrations, compliance features) and sequence it against consumer priorities Lead features from first principles through post-launch measurement, working directly with Engineering, Design, Marketing, Sales, and Data Talk directly with admins, IT buyers, and org end users to build a first-hand view of workflows, pain points, and buying criteria that shape the roadmap Drive product-led growth initiatives that expand our self-serve B2B flywheel, from trial-to-paid conversion to seat expansion within existing accounts Partner with Sales on pricing, packaging, and feature requirements for larger deals, including scoping what's needed to win against competing offerings Own the integration and ecosystem roadmap (SSO, directory sync, and other tools admins expect to plug into their existing stack) Define and report on B2B-specific health metrics (e.g., seat activation, org retention, expansion revenue) to track product health and inform roadmap trade-offs Anticipate growth ceilings before they arrive: recognize when the product needs foundational investment (tooling, infrastructure, customer engagement platforms) and make the case for it with data Who You Are 6+ years of PM experience in B2B SaaS, with a track record of shipping features that moved engagement or retention metrics Deep B2B SaaS background: you've owned product for organizational buyers, understand admin and IT workflows, and know how enterprise feature decisions differ from consumer ones Analytically rigorous: you define success metrics before building and can construct a model to pressure-test a roadmap decision, grounding decisions in evidence Technically fluent: comfortable designing solutions with engineers, challenging technical assumptions, and making the right trade-offs when scope and timeline conflict Experienced with freemium or subscription models, with a clear view of how product decisions translate to revenue outcomes A direct, structured communicator who can align skeptical engineers, a growth team with competing priorities, and senior leadership within the same week Background in productivity software, with an understanding of user habits, switching costs, and what makes people come back daily Nice to Have Experience in priv
