In this role, you will focus on the fabrication, assembly, and machining of high-quality interior doors and frames. You will work primarily in a controlled shop environment, operating specialized woodworking machinery and hand tools to deliver structurally sound, beautiful architectural products that meet precise client specifications. Responsibilities Machining & Preparation: Measure, cut, route, and shape wood and composite materials to exact tolerances for hinges, locksets, and specialized hardware.
Pre-Hanging & Framing: Build, square, and assemble door jambs, custom doors, and specialized millwork items. Fit doors perfectly within their frames. Custom Woodworking: Cut and apply architectural trim, molding, glass inserts and custom panels according to design blueprints Qualifications Minimum of 3+ years of professional carpentry experience, with a strong preference for background in a dedicated millwork facility or door shop.
Cabinet experience is a plus but not required. Ability to lift, flip, and maneuver heavy doors and frames weighing up to 75–100 pounds Comfortable standing for extended periods.
