About the job Job purpose The Operational Resilience team plays a critical role in ensuring the continuity of essential services within the organization. By verifying the existence and functionality of recovery solutions—both with external partners and internally—the team ensures that these solutions can be activated swiftly in the event of a disruption. This proactive approach allows users to maintain their activities in alignment with predefined conditions, particularly following disasters.
The team also oversees the Crisis Management process and ensures its continuous maintenance and improvement under varying conditions. Main missions Your responsibilities include: Enhancing Crisis Management, Business Continuity, and IT Service Continuity Management: Conduct comprehensive Business Impact Analysis (BIA) campaigns to assess the potential impacts of disruptions on critical business functions.
Develop and refine business continuity plans (BCPs) that outline procedures and resources necessary to maintain or restore operations. Crisis Management Training and Awareness: Design and deliver training programs that educate employees about crisis management protocols, emphasizing various risks including physical loss, cybersecurity threats, and polycrises. Foster a culture of preparedness through regular awareness campaigns that equip staff with the knowledge to respond effectively during emergencies.
Operational Resilience Documentation: Contribute to the creation and maintenance of all documentation required by the Operational Resilience Framework. This includes strategic documents, document management protocols, comprehensive business continuity plans, a catalog of recovery solutions, and various reports and remediation plans. Business Impact Analysis Materials: Prepare awareness support and user guides, synthesize results into actionable insights and present findings to key stakeholders, formulate action/remediation plans to address identified risks and vulnerabilities.
Documentation supporting the processes: Produce comprehensive handbook detailing crisis management and business continuity processes, maintain up to date crisis management contact directory, establish a community space for resources, best practices and collaborative tools Develop and regularly update detailed business continuity plans and ensure that these plans are tested and validated. Expected skills & experience Experience About 2-4 years of experience in a similar role Risk Management, Business continuity planning, Crisis Management Certifications are nice to have Skills Strong communication and team work, Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and respond effectively to unforeseen challenges and disruptions Continuous Improvement Mindset Commitment to continually improving processes, documentation, and training to enhance the organization’s overall resilience capabilities.
