At First Actuarial, a Gallagher company, we’re looking for a Project Analyst to join our Pensions Administration team. If you’re passionate about delivering high-quality work, solving problems, and making a real difference in the world of pensions, this could be the perfect role for you. As a Project Analyst, you’ll play a key role in managing and supporting a variety of projects related to Defined Benefit (DB) and Defined Contribution (DC) pension schemes.
Working closely with project managers and administration teams, you’ll ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a collaborative and supportive environment where your skills and ideas will be valued. How you'll make an impact Assist with planning, budgeting, and delivering projects. Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and ensure deadlines are met.
Review and check pensions benefit calculations, supporting administration teams with complex cases. Help with data reviews for new pension scheme take-ons and resolve unusual or complex queries. Contribute to proposals for new business opportunities involving project work. Support your team by sharing knowledge, attending meetings, and suggesting improvements. About You Experience: A season third-party occupational pensions administrator within either DB and DC pension schemes.
Knowledge: Familiarity with UK pension legislation, regulations, and scheme rules. Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent numerical skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Experience with pensions admin systems (e.g., Compendia) is a bonus. Qualifications: Minimum of 5 GCSEs (including Maths and English) at grades A–C. A-levels, a degree, or a pensions-related qualification (e.g., APE, RPC, ADRP, CPC) are desirable.
Communication: Clear and confident communicator, able to explain complex concepts to a variety of audiences.
