What We Offer The Regional Manager of Medical Staff Operations provides strategic and operational leadership for Medical Staff Operations across an assigned region. This role ensures regulatory compliance, effective medical staff governance, provider readiness, operational excellence, and an exceptional provider experience. Serving as the primary liaison between facility leadership, physician and APP leaders, Medical Staff leadership, and Credentialing and Medical Staff Operations (CMSO) teams, the Manager drives collaboration, resolves complex operational issues, and advances organizational priorities.
The Manager is accountable for regional performance and consistent execution of system-wide CMSO standards and initiatives. This role leads team development, provider onboarding readiness, accreditation preparedness, risk management, process improvement, and change initiatives while supporting growth, integrations, facility transitions, and other strategic priorities across the region. What You'll Do Supports provider onboarding readiness and collaborates with Provider Experience leaders to identify and resolve barriers impacting provider access, engagement, successful integration into practice, and Day 1 readiness.
Provides leadership and operational support for organizational growth, acquisitions, integrations, facility transitions, new programs, and strategic initiatives impacting Medical Staff Operations. Provides leadership and operational oversight for Medical Staff Operations within an assigned region, ensuring compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and organizational requirements. Leads and develops Medical Staff Operations team members through coaching, performance management, talent development, succession planning, and employee engagement.
Serves as the primary regional liaison between facility executives, physician and advanced practice provider leaders, Medical Staff leadership, and CMSO teams to strengthen communication, resolve complex issues, and advance organizational priorities. What We're Looking For Education : 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, required. Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Nursing, Public Health or other related field.
Will accept minimum seven (7) years of leadership experience in lieu of bachelor's degree. Graduate Degree, preferred. Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Nursing, Public Health, Organizational Leadership or other related field. Experience : 5 years Progressive leadership experience in Medical Staff Services, Credentialing, Privileging, Healthcare Operations, Regulatory Compliance or related healthcare field, required.
7 years Experience managing operations across multiple facilities, regions, or healthcare entities, preferred. Licensure/Certification: CPCS and/or CPMSM, required. Additional Skills (required): Experience with a Credentialing information system (CredentialStream experience preferred). Ability to drive/travel to multiple locations/facilities as needed. Required to work 3 days a week onsite at a facility located within the assigned region.
