Position Summary The Security Intern will work alongside Crest's Enterprise Security & Risk team to support enterprise cybersecurity operations, threat detection, vulnerability management, identity security, and security analytics activities. This position provides hands-on experience with enterprise security platforms, security monitoring, incident response coordination, risk management, governance frameworks, and security automation.
Interns will gain exposure to real-world cybersecurity operations supporting manufacturing, business, cloud, and enterprise technology environments. This internship is designed for students interested in pursuing careers in: Security Operations (SOC) Cybersecurity Analysis Threat Detection & Response Security Engineering Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) Identity & Access Management Cyber Risk Management Responsibilities Analyze security alerts and investigate potential threats Assist with security monitoring and threat detection activities Participate in vulnerability management and remediation tracking Support identity and access review processes Develop dashboards and reporting using Power BI Assist with cybersecurity risk assessments Research emerging threats, attack techniques, and vulnerabilities Support security documentation, standards, and operational procedures Participate in incident response exercises and investigations Assist with security automation opportunities using Power Platform and scripting Technologies Exposure Trend Micro Vision One Trend Micro Apex One Microsoft 365 Security Microsoft Azure Okta Power BI Power Platform Active Directory SIEM and Security Analytics Platforms Preferred Qualifications Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Cyber Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or related field Familiarity with networking concepts Basic understanding of operating systems and security principles Interest in cybersecurity operations and threat analysis Strong analytical and problem-solving skills What Students Will Learn Enterprise cybersecurity operations Threat detection and response Security architecture concepts Risk management methodologies Security monitoring and analytics Identity and access management Enterprise security governance We know how difficult it is to manage change and solve problems .
