Civil Construction Project Engineer Location: Leesburg, VA Job Type: Direct Hire Starting Salary: $73,000/year — higher compensation available based on experience Position Overview Seeking a Civil Construction Project Engineer to support the planning and execution of civil construction projects. This role coordinates subcontractors and field activities, assists with estimating and scheduling, and helps ensure projects meet contract, quality, and safety requirements.
Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Engineering 2–3 years of civil engineering or construction experience , such as Project Engineer, Construction Engineer, Project Manager, or Assistant Project Manager Knowledge of construction means, methods, scheduling, contract administration, estimating, and blueprint reading Experience coordinating subcontracted and self-performed work Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and construction software such as Procore, Bluebeam, or Autodesk Strong organization, communication, and problem-solving abilities Willingness to travel to project sites as needed Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
